The Story

The book was One Snowy Night by M. Christina Butler

The Songs:

Snowflakes, Snowflakes (Sung to: “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”)

Sing to the tune of “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star”

Snowflakes, snowflakes, dance around,
Snowflakes, snowflakes, touch the ground
Snowflakes, snowflakes, in the air
Snowflakes, snowflakes, everywhere
Snowflakes, snowflakes, dance around
Snowflakes, snowflakes, touch the ground
Snowflakes Falling

Sing to the tune of “Up on the Housetop”

Snowflakes are falling on the ground
On our houses and in our town
On my nose and in my hair
Snowflakes are falling everywhere.
“Oh, oh, oh, out we go
Oh, oh, oh, in the snow
Making snowmen
Sliding, too,
There are lots of things to do.

The Craft: Snowflake

What you’ll need:

  • White pipe cleaners
  • Pony beads (silver & blue or assorted colors)
  • Scissors
  • Ribbon or yarn

How to make it:

Cut two pipe cleaners in half.  Twist the four pieces together in the middle to form a snowflake.  Slide the beads on the pipe cleaners.  Fold the end of the pipe cleaner over to keep the beads from falling off.  Tie a ribbon around one of the pipe cleaners if you want to hang the snowflake.

The Story

The book was When Santa Lost His HO! HO! HO! By Laura Rader

The Rudolph Prance

You put your [hooves] in; you put your [hooves] out.
You put your [hooves] in and you shake ’em all about!
You do the Rudolph Prance and you shake it all around—
That’s what the reindeer do…woooo!

Repeat the verse, substituting antlers, red nose, and white tail for the underlined word.

We wish you a Merry Christmas
And a Happy New Year.

And spread Christmas cheer (raise arms above head)

Now let’s all do a little waving (wave),
Now let’s all do a little waving(wave),

Get your packages by Christmas eve.

Saturday, December 18th, 2010

Many of us are last minute shoppers. We are busy with our lives, have a strange affinity to stress, or just work better under pressure. It’s seven more days before Christmas — or rather, 5 business/shipping days — and your shopping list is still not complete. Know that you’re not alone!

We have created a shipping map to help make it easier to figure out if you’ll get your package on time for Christmas. The cutoff days are listed for ground shipping. Of course, we also offer expedited/express shipping — shipping costs will be determined as you checkout.

We have lots of elves on deck to help process all of your orders. All orders placed by 3p.m. CST will go out that very same business day.

Still unsure? Give us a call and we’ll help you figure it all out, we can even suggest some cool gift ideas if you wish.

Hope that helps! Happy shopping.
