Better UPS tracking link
Friday, December 7th, 2007When an order has been fulfilled and is on its way, an email is sent out to the customer. In the email there is a URL linking to the UPS.com site to track the package.
A customer from Illinois wrote us this week and made this suggestion:
I have an improvement for tracking packages.
Compare the link you give me for tracking packages to this one:
http://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/processInputRequest?
TypeOfInquiryNumber=T&InquiryNumber1=XYZTRACKINGNUMBER
Perhaps you can update your automatically generated link to something like the one above? [yours requires that I do some additional clicking, the one above takes me straight to the status of my package]
As of last night, the tracking URL that is sent out to customers has been changed to reflect the better and easier tracking method. Thanks Kevin!
