Julia at the Nursery section of Apartment Therapy wrote a wonderful piece about KangarooBoo today. It highlighted several products within our store and mentioned about our commitment to charities in making a difference in children’s lives.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. We at KangarooBoo have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving Holiday.

When Jennic received an email from a reporter writing a story for the local papers about safe toys, we were both very excited. Jennic was interviewed and towards the end of the interview she was asked to provide suggestions of some products we carry on KangarooBoo, including hi-res pictures. She put together descriptions for 5 selections and I uploaded the images onto our server for the reporter. Little did we know that all 5 suggestions by Jennic was to be featured. We were both pleasantly surprised on Monday morning when we read the article. Jennic was quoted many times in the article:

Welcome to the KangarooBoo.com blog. Something we should have started before we launched. Anyways, better late than never right? We’ve been super busy since we launched and have been putting off getting this blog off the ground and now we’re up! Woohoo!

We officially launched on October 17, so we’re almost 2 weeks old! Amazing. What does “officially launch” mean? Well, we’ve had a splash page up for the longest time at KangarooBoo.com, with a little form for people to sign up to be notified when we launch. On October 17 we sent out an email to the 60+ people who had signed up. Many replied telling us that they had forwarded our URL to their friends. Some even to their entire address book. We are touched. Thank you!

So anyway, about this blog. This is an informal blog where we post updates, announcements, and everything and anything concerning KangarooBoo.com.
